Our Mission is to weave technology into the fabric of urban culture, enabling children to unlock their full potential.
Our Motivation
Pose the question to youths in inner cities about their future aspirations. The response is the driving force behind the formation of The Impowerment Group. A significant majority would express a desire to become entertainers or professional athletes.
Why is this so? It's because they are not exposed to other possibilities and the adults in their lives do not advocate for alternative paths.
The Impowerment Group is committed to shifting this perspective. To ensure their prosperity, we need to alter the cultural narrative to include computer programming, Artificial Intelligence and No-Code tools, from an early age.
We envision a future where inner-city children aspire to become the next "Mark Zuckerberg", "Jeff Bezos", or "Bill Gates", rather than entertainment icons like "Shaq", "Snoop Dogg", or "Beyonce".
Communities stand to gain immensely from careers in computer programming.
We have developed a unique summer program that teaches beginners the core technologies of web development and how to use NO-Code tools as prototypes and to properly integrate Artificial Intelligence into the app.
